If you're trying to get a flexible space hose to work with the LDDesignPad Bezier Curve plugin, you must set the LDraw Base Path in LDDP. In the main LDDP window, chose Edit > > Misc options. Make sure the LDraw field points to your LDraw directory (should be C:\LDraw\). The other fields aren't as critical, unless you want LDDP to work with those other tools as well.
