How to Order
Be sure to include your name, shipping address (and billing address, if it's different), book titles, phone number, credit card number, and its expiration date.

Ordering Forthcoming Titles
If you order a book that has not yet been published, we will put your order on backorder and ship it to you once the book is available.

Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If paying by check or money order, please contact us to verify the total cost of your purchase, including shipping.

Shipping Methods and Charges
Orders within the U.S. are sent via Priority Mail, which normally takes 3-5 business days to be delivered. Shipping for a single book is $4.80, for two books or more the cost is $9.80. To request a rush or overnight shipment, contact us to find out the extra charges.

International Shipping
Orders to Canada and Mexico are sent via U.S. Global Priority Mail with a cost of $9.95 for the first book and $23.95 for two or more books. All other international, single book orders cost $11.95 and for quantities of two or more books the cost is $38.95. Orders are sent via Global Priority Mail, which normally takes 7-10 days to be delivered.

How long will it take to process my order?
All orders will be shipped within two business days.

How will I know if my order has been processed?
Once your order has been shipped, we will send you a confirmation via email. If you don't have email, you can call us at 1-800-420-7240 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST to check on the status of your order.

Returns and Exchanges
We stand behind each and every No Starch Press title. If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, or if it is defective, you can return it for a full refund or exchange it for another item. Simply ship the book, along with proof of purchase and your mailing address, to the address below:

We'll also refund your shipping costs up to $5.00 (within the U.S.) or $10.00 (international).

If the CD-ROM included with your No Starch Press book is defective, we'll be glad to ship you a replacement. Send proof of purchase and your mailing address to us by email (info@nostarch.com), fax (415.863.9950), or mail (same address as above) and we'll send you a new disk.
